Cason Family | South Jetty Beach, Venice FL

One of my favorite things about photography is being able to capture and document families as they grow. I first met this couple when they were expecting their precious baby boy and were planning to announce their pregnancy to the world. Now that little boy just turned ONE and is walking the beach alongside his parents! Life is such a precious gift. I’m so honored that the Cason family chose to make the trip down to Venice so I could continue capturing these moments for them. Even in the midst of a Tropical Storm in the gulf — we caught a break in the rain and made it happen! It was fun shooting my first session at one of my favorite local beaches here in Venice — South Jetty Beach. The rocks and trees along the jetty just make for a stunning backdrop!

Navarro Family | Ponte Vedra Beach

It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged a session! I stayed busy over the summer photographing some lovely families - even a couple out of town families that came to vacation at our beautiful northeast beaches. I am thankful to live so close to the beach and get to photograph here often. The beach is like a blank canvas that allows me to focus on capturing special moments between loved ones. I loved my time recently with this sweet family. They were so easy and natural to photograph. The two sisters in their adorable matching dresses made me melt!

Demetriou Family | Hanna Park

It's my favorite time of the year... family session time! This year I am in a time crunch as we wait on baby #3 to make her arrival sometime in the next few weeks. So I have packed in a LOT of family sessions in just a short amount of time. It has been busy --- but SO fun!

I loved meeting this family through a mutual friend and getting to capture their adorable family together (with grandma too!) We had originally scheduled this session in September, but thanks to Hurricane Irma we had to reschedule for October. But jokes on the hurricane, because we ended up with an absolutely GORGEOUS evening!
